12 December 20
To the administration, dancers, supporters and audience of the International Dance School, Tokyo.
I, Michael S. Gregori, husband of Eva Evdokimova, Prima Ballerina Ballerina Assoluta give my full authorization an d blessings to the school to present performances and competitions in deepest memory of my wife Eva Evdokimova. My wife was very proud of her students and gave 150% of her knowledge, experience and energy to every student and professional that she ever taught or coached. She will be watching and will expect no less from all of you!
Total dedication, concentration, a love of learning not only about ballet, but all of the arts and a full well rounded education so that you will become important contributing members to your family, community, country and the world. She would expect nothing less and knows as do I that all of you have this great ability.
May I personally thank Madame Ogushi and all those responsible to memorialize my wife for eternity. She is a role model for the ages. A shining light of quality, inspiration, integrity, honesty, selflessness, that will inspire many for tens of generations to come.
I have only one request please. If any of you would like to express your feelings or thoughts about Eva Evdokimova on video tape as thousands of your fellow country men and woman have already done so, please be kind enough to do so. Miss Evdokimova loved your country and your people very much. I am compiling a video-tape and book about "Eva Evdokimova in Japan." It will be a wonderful project. Thank you.
Again, best of luck. You make us all very proud!
MICHAEL S. GREGORI
